Glasgow’s T.J. Regional Health Named Best Home Health Agency by U.S. News & World Report

GLASGOW, Ky. — T.J. Regional Health Home Care has earned national recognition as one of the best home health agencies in the United States, receiving the highest “High Performing” designation from U.S. News & World Report in the publication’s first-ever evaluation of home health providers.

The Glasgow-based home health program was among just 17% of more than 12,000 agencies nationwide to earn the Best Home Health distinction, which recognizes agencies that exceed expectations for care quality and patient experience.

What the Recognition Means

“Earning the Best Home Health distinction is a significant achievement, as it is reserved only for those agencies that satisfy U.S. News’ standards of care quality and patient experience,” said Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News.

With more than three million patients turning to home health agencies each year across the country, this inaugural analysis provides families an independent view of quality when making decisions about in-home care for their loved ones.

50 Years Serving South Central Kentucky

The national recognition comes as T.J. Home Care Services celebrates its 50th anniversary of providing home health services to residents across South Central Kentucky. The nonprofit, hospital-based program has been Joint Commission-accredited and serves patients in Barren, Hart, Metcalfe, and surrounding counties.

“Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a top home health provider is a tremendous honor and reflects the extraordinary dedication of the entire home health team,” said Shara Page, Administrator of Home Care Services at T.J. Regional Health. “Our interdisciplinary team of clinicians, caregivers, and support professionals work together to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.”

Page noted that the team approaches every patient as if caring for their own family members while partnering with physicians, caregivers, and community programs to ensure coordinated care in the home.
