ETHAN Crumbley’s parents have been arrested following a manhunt and now each faces four charges of involuntary manslaughter.

located the “fugitives” after their car was reportedly found abandoned in the area of Mount Elliott and Lafayette in Detroit, Michigan.

Fox2 reported the pair were found in a basement in Detroit after hours of searching.

Steve Huber, a spokesperson for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, had told The Daily Beast earlier Friday that the Crumbley’s were “considered fugitives.”

The Crumbley’s lawyer told the Daily Beast in a statement: “The Crumbley’s left town on the night of the tragic shooting for their own safety.

“They are returning to the area to be arraigned. They are not fleeing from law enforcement despite recent comments in media reports.”

Crumbley, a sophomore at Oxford High School, will be charged with one count of terrorism causing death and four counts of first-degree murder.

He also faces seven counts of assault with intent to murder and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

A law enforcement official told  the parents withdrew $4,000 from an ATM in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Friday.

Detroit Chief James White said Saturday a third person may have assisted the couple in getting into the building to hide is also being looked at by investigators.

The Crumbley’s didn’t break into the building, they were let inside by that person, the chief told reporters.

Prosecutors announced their intention to charge the 15-year-old’s parents following the rampage.

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said on Friday: “The attorney, this morning, told us if charges were issued, and at that point, they had not (been), that she would make arrangements to have them arrested.

As authorities searched for the Crumbley’s following the issuing of charges, Bouchard spoke out on .

He said: “Given that their attorney said that they would handle this if charges were issued, and now they’re not responding to the attorney — it certainly is indicative of their intent to flee, which is certainly something we plan to stop very short.

“If — anyone in the public knows — where they are, or they see them, please call 911.”

A fugitive team was reportedly hunting for the parents after they did not surrender at 2 pm, as they were scheduled to.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard said: “If they think they’re going to get away, they’re not.”

The FBI and US Marshals are assisting with the search.

Prior to the filing, prosecutor Karen McDonald said: “With the right of owning a gun comes responsibility and the responsibility of a gun owner is to secure that weapon and to keep it out of the hands of somebody who could kill people.

“We can provide all the training and put up metal detectors and try to flag behaviors that are concerning in children.

“But at the end of the day, if we don’t make gun owners responsible for their possession, which most people who own guns do and are in favor of, we all should be responsible,” McDonald added.

James Crumbley’s ex-girlfriend says Ethan’s dad is a ‘piece of s**t’ who abandoned her family and Jennifer is a ‘monster’

Michelle Cobb says James Crumbley, the father of suspected Michigan school shooter, Ethan Crumbley, left her and the son they share together to move in with Jennifer.

James Crumbley also left behind a daughter he had with another woman in Florida, claims Cobb.

James Crumbley and his wife allegedly looked for ways to criticize Cobb because they hated that he had to pay child support for his son, Eli.

“I cried the moment he turned 18 because, I thought, all of this hell is over as far as dealing with my son’s father,” she said.

Cobb blames Jennifer Crumbley for making it difficult for Eli to get closer to his father and half-brother Ethan, calling her a “monster.”

“She could do no wrong and she was right about everything. I mean, this is exactly the kind of attitude she has. Like, she literally thought she was better than everyone.”

The Crumbley’s have been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter after their son allegedly carried out the Oxford High School shooting on Tuesday, taking the lives of four teens.

Cobb said she wouldn’t be surprised if Ethan’s parents bought the semi-automatic handgun as a gift for him.

“They pretty much gave him whatever he wanted,” she said. “Why would you let a 15-year-old have access, especially knowing that just a few days prior he was having problems at school?”

Ethan’s parents allegedly took $4,000 from an ATM and disappeared following the they had been charged. They were arrested in Detroit after failing to meet a 4 pm deadline to surrender.

The Crumbley’s face up to 15 years in prison if they’re convicted.

“I hope they get the maximum, honestly, all of them. They deserve it,” said Cobb. “They need to be held accountable for what their child did. They need to have a reality check.”

Ethan Crumbley has been charged as an adult for murder, attempted murder, and terrorism. He is being held without bond.
